We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Finance & Data Analyst in a Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance, data analysis, and the education sector, particularly in the context of managing and supporting multiple academies.
As a Trainee Finance & Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our finance team and leveraging data analysis to drive strategic decision-making and financial management across the MAT. This is a full-time position with the potential for growth and advancement within the organisation.

What will you do?
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including academy principals, finance staff, and administrators to gather data requirements
- Help identify process improvement opportunities in financial reporting and data analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintenance of the accounting systems / software
