Are you an experienced and strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a highly motivated Area Business Support Manager to oversee the administration and business support functions across our Leicester schools.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of business administration, working closely with senior leaders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will lead and develop business support teams, implement trust-wide administrative processes, and drive efficiency in key areas such as procurement, HR, finance, governance, compliance, IT, marketing, and estates management.
Your expertise in process development, project management, and leadership will be crucial in enhancing operational effectiveness across the schools. Whether managing statutory reporting, school resources, GDPR compliance, or extended school provisions, you will play a key role in ensuring that all administrative functions align with the trust’s vision and objectives.

What will you do?
- Be responsible for advising the senior leadership team and the SSC on various matters to ensure the smooth running of the school.
- Be responsible for the submission of relevant information to Senior Leadership Team, the SSC and outside agencies e.g., DfE, LA.
- To promote and support the administrative work of any extended school activities making arrangements for school based activities.
- To ensure that all paperwork and monies for school trips is completed
- Be responsible for devising marketing and promotional strategies for the school as required in liaison with the Trust Central Team.
- Develop and manage databases using Arbor and other computerised systems as appropriate.

What are we looking for?
- Level 2 (GCSE A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Relevant Management Qualification or significant experience
- Ability to analyse, interpret, collate and present management information through reports and plans
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels e.g. Governors, leadership team, teaching staff, contractors, caretakers
- High level IT skills particularly in Excel spreadsheets and Word
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
