About us and the role
Are you a reliable, detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding and flexible role? We are seeking four Exam Invigilators to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and fair running of examinations.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the examination process by ensuring that candidates adhere to the required regulations. You will oversee exam sessions, distribute and collect papers, supervise candidates, and assist with any queries while upholding strict examination procedures. Your role will help create a calm and controlled environment, enabling students to perform to the best of their abilities.
Key duties include setting up examination rooms, verifying attendance, patrolling the exam hall to prevent misconduct, and assisting candidates with any permitted requirements. You will also support the Examinations Officer with the collection and secure handling of exam papers and scripts, ensuring compliance with JCQ guidelines and school policies.
This position is ideal for individuals who are highly organised, observant, and able to remain professional and composed under pressure. Experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?
- To check attendance during examinations
- To escort candidates from venues during the examinations as required, and supervising candidates whilst outside examination venues.
- To assist Examinations Officer with other examination processes as and when required
