This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Principal to lead on teaching and learning, inclusion, and pastoral care, while also contributing to whole-school strategy and operational leadership. You will be expected to take an active role in shaping the school’s future, inspiring both staff and pupils, and ensuring excellence in every area of school life.

As a school rooted in the Avanti ethos, our work is guided by values of respect, integrity, self-discipline, and spiritual wisdom. We are proud to nurture not just academic achievement, but the personal and character development of every child.

We are looking for a leader who is reflective and ready to work collaboratively to make a real difference. If you are excited by the chance to lead within a nurturing, ambitious and values-led school, we look forward to hearing from you.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. • Educational excellence
  • Character formation
  • Spiritual insight

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

What will you do?

  • Lead and manage designated teams, subject areas, and key initiatives, supporting staff through coaching, appraisal, and professional development.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and respectful behaviour, serving as a role model and upholding the school’s values in every aspect of school life.
  • Oversee operational responsibilities such as duty teams, behaviour systems, budget management, and parental/community engagement.

Why should you apply
